When I’m directing creative I get to be a designer, psychologist, detective, planner, and translator all in one, and that’s how I know I’m in the right place.
— Kaitlyn Marie

DESIGNER

  • Design has been an omnipresent interest from the moment I began fashioning my mother’s scarves and shawls into actual wearable pieces while playing dress up as a child. Whenever there’s an opportunity for creative influence, input or inspiration, I’m eager to contribute. From concept to composition I use my experiences as a designer to guide my teams to aesthetic and functional solutions.

psychologist

  • As a teen I was convinced my journey would take me down the road of psychology. My empathy and desire to help others has been a driving force and strong facet of my personality for as long as I can recall. This proclivity to understand and connect has been a key part of my career success in relationship building, management, and target marketing.

DETECTIVE

  • As a student and young adult I developed a parallel interest in forensic psychology and an affinity for crime tv. The complexity, depth, and differences between humans, as well as what drives our action and inaction, has always fascinated me. When I’m developing a creative direction, I get to interview the client, decipher their motives, research the organization, audience and inspiration, and derive the best solution.

PLANNER

  • In college I made the determination that a career in marketing and event coordination would best suite my talents and interests. I dove into the event industry in my early 20s and have built the building blocks of my organizational and planning practices over the past 10 years through these experiences. Managing the lifecycle of projects of all types and sizes has become second nature to me.

TRanslator

  • My love for language followed much later as my career brought me to Europe and I found my passion for traveling to new countries and exploring different cultures. As a manager of creative teams I act as a translator between individuals that truly communicate differently, disseminating the appropriate information from client to artist and back.

KM CREATIONS

Everything we make and release into this world will have a life of its own, no matter how short-lived, and is an extension of who we are.  I create using words, inspiration, original and found elements, photography, photoshop, procreate… the list goes on.
